Please come join our close-knit family here at St. Mary's Central High School. You will be joining the oldest and largest private high school in the state of North Dakota.
We are proud of St. Mary's Central High School and think it is a very special place. You'll notice the loyalty that our parents, faculty and students have to our school, a place where you'll be encouraged to explore your full potential, not just your goals.
When you get here, you'll find students who are in most ways like you. Like you, they want to learn, have fun, have friends, and they want to be accepted for who they are. Like you, they also want to be more than just another face in the crowd. They want a chance, an opportunity and, like you, they want some caring help that is competent and encouraging.
When you come here, you'll find this to be a school where you can explore your hopes and dreams, and where you will be expected to study, to learn, to take your classes and each other seriously. You'll find a place where the students not only play together - but also pray together and stay together.
And you'll find that most all students are involved in activities from speech to athletics, and from putting together the school newspaper to singing in the choir or playing in the band. St. Mary's has an outstanding athletic tradition, a wide variety of school-sponsored clubs, and a distinguished fine arts program. Last summer a number of our students visited Rome and others went to Peru.
A St. Mary's Central High School education emphasizes the whole person. Our students like to have fun, know how to have fun, and understand that this is a community of learners all here for the same purpose: learning.
At St. Mary's we are interested in your spiritual growth as well. Our mission is to communicate the message of hope, build a Christian community, and to engage in service.
Our 7,000 graduates are spread throughout the region, the country and, indeed, the world. Our ACT scores rank above national, regional, state and local averages. We offer you a chance to obtain 24 college credits while here, and we also have full access to the Bismarck Area Vocational Center.
We look forward to seeing you here.
